Every exercise follows a structured 2-minute format that builds intensity and keeps your class engaged. You'll master timer usage, foreshadowing cues, and seamless transitions.

You'll learn when to foreshadow the challenge, how to read the room, and when to cut an exercise short if clients are struggling.

Curriculum Overview

40+ foundational exercises. 6 muscle groups.

Progressions from core & abs through legs, obliques, and upper body — each with spring modifications, cueing strategies, and teaching notes.

Abdominals

6+ exercises

Kneeling crunch, straight arm crunch, seated crunch — flexion-based exercises that target the rectus abdominis.

Core

8+ exercises

Ab wheel, saw, plank to pike, panther — no spinal flexion, neutral spine stability for the transverse abdominis.

Light Legs

8+ exercises

Lunges & squats on light springs — adding springs makes it easier, wider feet makes it harder.

Heavy Legs

8+ exercises

Lunges, squats, donkey kicks, bungee kicks — heavier spring loads for glutes, quads, and hamstrings.

Obliques

6+ exercises

Side planks, twisted plank to pike, mermaid crunch, nighthawk — rotational and lateral stability work.

Upper Body

6+ exercises

Bicep curls, chest expansion, tricep kickbacks, chest fly — cable and strap resistance training.

Routine Formulation

You won't just learn exercises — you'll learn how to build complete class routines. The manual walks you through sequencing decisions: where to start on the reformer, how to alternate hand/forearm positions to protect wrists, and how to progress spring loads across a block.

Each routine is 19 exercises across 6 muscle group blocks. You'll create your first full routine during training and leave ready to teach.

You'll train on the ParkCore reformer and learn every spring color, weight, and modification. Understanding spring tension is fundamental to safe, effective cueing.
