The Park Pilates

Questions Before You Book

The Park Pilates FAQ

The Park Pilates in Pleasant Grove answers the questions people ask before they book: what the class feels like, how memberships work, when the intro starts, how cancellation works, and what makes the studio different from larger franchise formats in Utah County.

First Class

What should I wear to class?

Comfortable, form-fitting workout clothes you can move in. Grip socks are required for safety and hygiene. We sell them at the studio if you need a pair. No shoes on the reformers.

What is high-intensity reformer Pilates?

It is low-impact strength training on a spring-loaded reformer. ParkCore classes use slow resistance, controlled tempo, and deep muscle fatigue to make the workout feel hard without feeling frantic. It is a strong class in a warm room, not a generic fitness circuit.

I've never done Pilates before. Can I still come?

Absolutely. Every class accommodates all levels. Your instructor will guide you through modifications and progressions. Most people feel comfortable by their second or third class.

How early should I arrive?

Please arrive 10 minutes early for your first class to complete a brief waiver and get oriented. For subsequent classes, 5 minutes early is plenty.

Classes

How long are classes?

Most classes are 45 minutes of full-body ParkCore work. Signature + Recovery classes layer in sound bath recovery, so your reset is part of the Park experience instead of something you have to book somewhere else.

How many people are in each class?

Maximum 8 people per class. Small classes mean your instructor can watch your form, coach your setup, and make the room feel personal instead of anonymous.

What's your cancellation policy?

Cancel 12+ hours before class with no fee. Cancelling 2-12 hours before class incurs a $12 fee with credit returned. Cancelling under 2 hours before class incurs a $12 fee and credit forfeiture. No-shows incur an $18 fee and credit forfeiture.

Is there a waitlist?

Yes. Join it. Full classes usually reopen before start, and openings most often show up the day before.

Memberships

What membership options do you offer?

We offer a 2-Week Unlimited intro, Monthly Unlimited, selected commitment-based memberships, a Student Membership, class packs, Park & Flow access, and add-ons like private sessions and Kids Lounge support. The mix gives you both routine-driven and flexible options.

When does the 2-Week Unlimited intro start?

The 2-week intro starts at your first class check-in, not on the day you buy it. That means you can secure the offer, book the class that fits your schedule, and let your two weeks begin with your first visit.

Do you offer referrals or guest passes?

Yes. Eligible active members unlock referrals after three completed classes, and the current program rewards both sides. The Park also uses guest-pass style community perks, so bringing a friend into the room is part of how the studio grows.

How far in advance can I book?

Unlimited members can book 15 days ahead. Class pack and drop-in members can book 10 days ahead.

Do credits roll over?

No. Class pack credits expire 12 months from purchase. Unlimited memberships are use-it-or-lose-it each day, with one class per day maximum.

Can I pause my membership?

Yes. One complimentary pause of up to one month per calendar year. Submit your request at least 30 days before your billing date. Medical holds may be approved with documentation.

How do I cancel?

Email [email protected] or visit us in person. Provide 30 days notice before your term end date to avoid automatic renewal. No refunds for partial months.

Studio

Where are you located?

Do you have changing rooms?

We have a clean, private restroom you can use to freshen up. No showers. Come ready to sweat and leave feeling accomplished.

What do I need to bring?

Just yourself and a water bottle. We provide everything else. Grip socks are required and available for purchase if you don't have your own.

What makes The Park different from other studios nearby?

The Park feels more like a modern Pilates club than a generic studio. Strong classes, a small room, weekend Signature + Recovery, and a social side that is there if you want it all make it easier to keep coming back.
